On Thursday September 14 2017, stop what you’re doing for one hour and pick up a book. Better still join us from 5.00-6.00pm! Australian Reading Hour aims to encourage Australians to either rediscover or introduce themselves to the benefits of reading.

In children, it has been shown to help with identity formation, setting them up for success in the future.

In adults, it has been shown to reduce stress by 68% more than listening to music, going for a walk, or having a cup of tea.

Our very own local lovely Lizzy Williamson has written a book! It's time to launch this beauty

Get moving and feeling good with your kids.Tuesday 26 September@10am at Avalon Surf Live Saving Club we’ll be dancing ourselves happy and discovering how to get fit at the shop or kitchen bench, brushing our teeth or even watching Netflix. You’ll be having too much fun you won’t even know you’re exercising.

Realise how even two minutes of moving your body goes a long way towards more confidence, focus and vitality for both the young and the old.

Kickstart your school holidays with the inspiration and motivation you need to have you and your family fit, connected and healthy.  All ages welcome. You can buy Lizzy's book and she'll write something special inside, plus 20% of book sales will go to Mums for Mums to support all their good work. This event is FREE but bookings essential as there will be treats
